The other day I was making peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for my children when a few very special family memories came back to me. One of my favorite after school snacks as a child was peanut butter & jelly sandwiches with the crusts cut off. Whenever we were at our grandma’s house after school she would so kindly cut the crusts off our sandwiches. This was a real treat, and one my sister and I didn’t get on a regular basis, so we were always excited about this simple gesture by Grandma.
